Are phone snaps good enough?

Aspire Electrical Ltd

Aspire Electrical installed the ceiling overhead lighting in this huge food depot near London. Shot using Canon's excellent 16-40L f2.8 mkII.

It's been a great few days working with Aspire's electrical engineers and technicians across the UK - and seen me visiting sites where they regularly install and maintain in Manchester, London and Bristol.

Like many companies, Aspire had a big back catalogue of completed projects, which if publicised and captured professionally, can be a great asset when pitching for similar work. Often times we are all too busy to take or organise professional photos at the end of a project, and hastily grabbed phone snaps feel like they'll carry us through. Trouble is, even though they can look pleasing on our devices, they're not always high enough quality either in terms of pixels, size, composition or quality to best reflect your companies work, which is why I was asked to return to specific sites at the client's permission.

I'm not often asked to show my photographers liability insurance (which is supplied by Aaduki insurance for photographers and drone operators) - but some of the sites Aspire work on require proof of liability cover for all contractors on site, along with a CSCS card, and a RAMS or risk assessment.
